This device asked to be licensed on your account. Check that you recognise it, then issue its licence - the box installs it by itself, with nothing to copy by hand.

Licence states
Expiring soon is the 30 days before a licence lapses; in grace is the 14 days after, while the invoice catches up. A licence shown as perpetual has no expiry date and never enters either window.

Activate a device

Every WaterWorksX box can print a fingerprint request - a single line of text that identifies the hardware. Paste it here (or upload the .wxfpr file) and it appears above for you to mint. The licence you get back is bound to that box; save it and load it onto the device.

Activating online instead

A box with internet access does this itself, and nothing has to be copied by hand: in the device configurator, open Licence -> Activate online. The box shows a link and a QR code - follow it on any device, sign in here, and you land on a card naming that box with one button on it. Minting from that card issues the licence and the box installs it on its next check, usually within a minute.

Older or managed setups may ask for an account token instead of showing a link. That is not something this page can give you - contact WaterWorksX and it will be set up for you.

Buy seats

One seat licenses one device. Retiring a device frees its seat; replacing failed hardware does not cost one.

A purchase order is reviewed by WaterWorksX and the seats appear once it is approved. A card payment adds them straight away.

CustomerPeople SitesAdded
A customer's people sign in here, at your client area, and see only the sites you hand to that customer - on Devices, on Fleet, and from the label printed on the machine. Your own people (no customer) see everything.
Sites which customer each site belongs to
SiteName DevicesCustomer
Every licence minted against a site goes with it. A site with no customer is yours alone.

EmailRole CustomerAdded
Adding somebody creates no credential: they sign in at this address with their email and the link is sent to them. An owner is always client-wide. A viewer reads; an operator can also rename devices, locate sites and save views - inside their customer only, when confined to one.
